Using Senso Gloves with SteamVR and portable Android-based HMD (Quest, Pico, Focus etc)

Overview

Same way as it can be performed with wired HMD like HTC Vive, most of standalone Android-based HMD also could be used.

For this, you'll need to do these things:

  • Install ALVR software on the PC
  • Install ALVR client apk on HMD
  • Enable hand tracking on HMD
  • Make sure they are both in the same WiFi network
  • Launch everything

That's all !

As a working release of ALVR (open source software for casting video from SteamVR to HMD over WiFi) you can use version 20.7.1 or later, available here
